In January I blogged about running and weight loss, both of which I was feeling very motivated and excited about. Unfortunately, I let my stress get the best of me this Spring and I am just now feeling motivated to try, try again.
When I wrote my 101 in 1,001 list I wanted to start tracking my weight loss - I even blogged about reaching the five pound mark, and then again about reaching another weight loss goal. I am planning to continue sharing this journey to a healthy BMI.
In addition, I am still planning to do the Race for the Cure 5k on August 8th and just began a plan to get there. (If anyone reading wants to "team up," let me know!) I have 11 weeks and have 3 "sessions" planned out for each week. Last night I did the first one, and wow... harder than I imagined, but I felt really strong and confident after. I will keep you updated! (On a side note, I am not putting any serious pressure on myself, just seeing what I can accomplish if I set my mind to it.) 1 down, 32 to go.
