I love my mom. She is unique, interesting and passionate. Anyone who knows her knows that she lives by her convictions. She is the reason I like lists and organization. She is the reason I get streaks of red in my hair during the summer. I have been especially proud of her since she started her new job this Fall - it has been full of new challenges and she is proving to keep up and deliver. I know she was scared of the change, but she has seemlessly transitioned into this new, exciting part of her life.
I can't put into words what she means to me. She is supportive, she is funny, she is kind. She also has a blog you should read! I am happy to call her Mom.
Paige, you do have one amazing mother...Growing up, seeing her with you guys has inspired me to be the mother I am now.
ReplyDeleteVicky, you did so much for us kids, not even your own flesh-in-blood...Welcoming us into your home with all your wonderful meals. I still remember all those lunches; the Spegetti O's, hot dogs, sandwiches, applesauce(my most favorite), all made with your touch of love. You gave so much of your time teaching us wonderful life lessons, and showing us perfect patience while taking a bunch of unpridictible kids to the movies during summer breaks:) Thank you for being such an inspiration, and a special mother in my life. Happy Mother's Day!!!
Paige! What a lovely blog :) It's been too long, friend, I would love to get together with you sometime and catch up. Where are you moving?
ReplyDeleteWe are actually only moving a little over a mile! The new house is in Fairway :) I would also LOVE to catch up.
