Today is Lisa's birthday! I met Lisa when I was in the 6th grade, so that would mean we have been in each other's lives for 16 years. We have been close friends for probably 12 of those. It was really sophomore year of high school that brought us together.... choir at school, youth group, church choir, working at All-Star Sports (Hey now, we work at All Star!) - my dad took a job in Kansas City that summer, and many of my friendships ended there - but not my friends from church, and especially not Lisa.
On we went to K-State, and then she went to LA... and although I loved my trip to the coast after college, I am glad she returned to Kansas and I can see her all the time.
